I could understand why they may but completely disturbing nonetheless. Choosing to terminate and having something taken are totally different ball parks. Regardless of if the terminator feels remorse ex. I own my decisions and live with the repercussions of them. Stigma or not. Scape goats at others expenses are repulsive. You didn't go through what I did. Don't act like you did. Imo.

I didn't know people did this. I miscarried and everyone at work knew. I tried to naturally pass everything so they were there with me through the cramps and me basically finding out. There was one girl in particular that I was very close with. She ended up getting pregnant a few months later. Decided she was going to abort but was ashamed so she faked a miscarriage. So I want you to understand. She didn't just lie and say she had a miscarriage. She faked one. She would call me and say oh I'm bleeding. Oh I'm cramping. Went to the dr and no heartbeat. Like she copied everything I went through to a tee because she was there for every moment with mine. Faked it very well. When you miscarry it's something so devistating that only people who've experienced it truly understand. I felt so bad for her because I knew what she felt. Needless to say when I found out she lied it was so upsetting and we never spoke again. She ended up leaving the job because she couldn't face seeing me everyday knowing what she had done and knowing I hated her. We were work best friends so together every second of everyday for two years. Then down to not even looking at one another.

I would just not tell them unless asked and if asked I would just say I don't want to talk about it. It is your personal business and feelings and if you'd not like to talk about it , then you don't have to. I definitely would not lie and say I had a miscarriage though. Many people will take offense to that. It's an invoulantary and devasting lost for those and unfair to them because you had a choice.

I'm very happy with the responses. I had a miscarriage at almost 10 weeks, it was very rough.
This question comes from a girl who was asking for some advice on getting an abortion. She got pregnant and was excited at first, and now I guess she's mad at the guy and decided she doesn't want to be with him forever. I believe she's around 12 weeks now and they announced to their families. Now she wants to go behind everyone's back and get an abortion and then say it's a miscarriage.
What a hot mess. 
I made this poll to prove it was offensive and wrong for her to even consider that.
