I am the one who made this poll...I asked because my (now ex) made me delete all of my guy friends on social media and his ex still liked him and one day he got a text from her while with me but all the while constantly telling me he never spoke to her and didn't have her number. He would go through my phone without my consent and delete messages from my parents for no reason. But he constantly accused me of cheating even though I had deleted so many people off social media and didn't even have guys' numbers in my phone. I was told he would sit by said ex girlfriend in classes and he would tell me he wouldn't I even caught him one day he was sitting by her and talking to her and then I asked him about it after class and he lied and got mad and walked away from me.

Maybe but unless there are other signs, or if your SO is acting different, I wouldn't use that alone as a reason to suspect cheating. I accused an ex of cheating a lot because of my insecurities and I wasn't cheating on him.

There could be fear and insecurity. If there is no logical reason they are reacting this way then...they're probably guilty. Think through your day to day. Are you neglecting them emotionally or physically? Are you weird with your phone? Do you hang out with the opposite sex wo them regularly? Have you changed your appearance? If nothing has changed and you're doing your part...their cheating or need counseling.

There's no solid answer to that. Often times a cheater does become suspicious and accursatory of their partner due to their own guilt though.
