vomiting while sleeping?

So ever since I hit my 3rd trimester, I have been vomiting, but only when I'm sleeping. Doesn't matter when my last time I ate, what I eat, or anything. These last few nights I've been throwing up while sleeping. Last night though, I vomited and it went up through my nose and I couldn't breathe for like 30 seconds. Scared me. 😩 I am going to call my OB to see if she has any suggestions more but has this happen to anyone else??

I have this. my doc told me to sleep in a recliner and take Prilosec.

It may just be because your stomach is being squished so much there's no room for food. During the day you are sitting up and moving so it helps digestion but at night when you lay down everything gets pushed up. I have acid reflux at night that has been making me throw up. You can try sleeping propped up, and try not to eat close to bed time.

Have you tried sleeping in a recliner or more of a sitting up position in bed? This happened to me twice. It stopped when I sleep sitting up with a bunch of pillows.
