Cure for mood swings?

How in the world do you get rid of mood swings. I feel like a mental patient when I'm on my period. I'm crying every 10 minutes!

Sadly, there's no instant cure all for mood swings :/ I suffer from them and some sever PMS myself. But there are things you can do to help...just taking better care of yourself in general (on and off of your period) eating good foods, getting your vitamins, excercizing regularly. I started running about a year ago and my mentrual cycle has changed tremendously ! My average flow is so much lighter and I hardly experience cramping anymore. I assume this is just because my body is in way better shape. I highly suggest excersizing on a regular basis (several times a week) even if its just taking a walk around the neighborhood for half an hour (take some friends with you, if you need motivation!) . Bananas are also great ! Journaling is helpful. The link between physical and emotional health is amazing, make sure you're treating both

I was like that too until I tried meditation. I bet it works! 
Try light warm up followed by relaxing - lie down and observe the sensations in your body. Then sit up with your spine erect (you may use a back rest - back jack helps best in maintaining a good posture), take a few deep breaths in and out and sit still for the next 20 mins and meditate. Take up a meditation course for best results than trying a guided meditation. All the best ! :)
