Barely making progress

I'm 38 weeks and 5 days and I went to my doctors appointment and when my dr checked my cervix she had a such a hard time even reaching it because of how high everything still was! She said I'm a "really tight 1 centimeter". I swore I was going to have this baby before my due date but now I have a feeling I'm going to be the girl that goes all the way to 41 weeks! I feel so discouraged now and just want my baby out!
