Side affects

I took Letrozole last week days 3 through 8. I have been having little sharp pains I would say in the areas of my ovaries. I have a scheduled ultrasound tomorrow morning. I guess my question is is this normal and what am I expecting to find out from the ultrasound. I'm so confused because even though I was listening when it was all explained to me I didn't hear everything because I'm still so upset I'm unable to conceive naturally.
