Air travel during first trimester?

Im currently 8 weeks pregnant. We r planing to travel to other state about 4-5 hours by plane. Is it safe to travel during early pregnancy? Plz give me some advice

Your able to travel safely up until your last month of pregnancy then it's recommended you don't

I flew at 7 weeks and it was hard as I had bad nausea. Little snacks helped as did drinking lots of water and sips of ginger ale. It's perfectly safe though to fly early in pregnancy! Hope all goes smoothly for you.

I travelled from Florida to California at 14 weeks. No issues and my nausea had subsided, so it was great. Doc told me to have fun. I brought compression socks.

I travelled up to 4-5 months on long haul international flights. Doc said  it was fine. The key is to stay hydrated and walk around. You can use compress socks/stockings if need be.

I traveled at about 10 weeks and my dr said it was fine. He advised me to walk a lot during the flight and stay hydrated. I wore compression socks and they really helped because I tend to get swelling. He also told me to start baby aspirin a few days before traveling. You could call your dr's office and ask for advice.

Yes. Just make sure to stretch your legs to avoid restless leg syndrome. If standing up and walking down the aisle isn't an option massage your legs. Start from your ankle and massage up your leg to help your blood circulate.

Yes. The only time travel by air isn't safe is when you are far enough along in your pregnancy that it is reasonable to expect going into labor at any time.
