Cramping after a late period ...help ?!

ok so I'm normally 31-32 day cycle this month I didn't start spotting until day 40 and it was Brown spotting for 2 days the on day 3 heavy Brown flow on and off and day 4 heavy dark flow then day 5 nothing but a watery pink red ...day 6 and after nothing today makes day 8 or 9 after the first day of brown spotting and for 3 days I've had sharp cramps in back and lower right side...now today stead cramps in my left (ovary ) it feels like that area. Anyone have insight for me ? experience this ?

edited to add had something kind of like this happen back in August but never cramping after AF
