so, I'm getting an abortion

So my partner and I are having an emotional time. We are both in college and have jobs, I am on the pill and we are usually careful during sex, but it turns out our plans changed. I'm about six weeks but we had a long conversation (with a lot of tears from the both of us) and the verdict is to terminate the pregnancy. He's paying for it and I'm so grateful to have the partner I do because we can recognize that one of us isn't to "blame" but our responsibility to be cautious slipped up. I'm nervous and my family and friends don't know yet, and I don't think they will for a while until I can fully process this. I don't feel real right now, but I know I have my rock with me to hold my hand and pass the tissues.
