You change out your LOs carseat from rearfacing to front facing? My little girl is 6 months old. Just curious to when we need to buy a new carseat. We have the Graco base and carseat with stroller combo right now.

Check your state laws. Most have weight/height requirements on when it's safe and legal to front face.

You can buy a convertible carseat & still rearface, my 17 month old is still rearfacing & she will stay like that until she doesn't fit anymore.. i have no hurry on having her front face

Many (all?) convertible car seats can be rear facing. You can switch her out of the infant seat and still have her rear facing. She needs to be rear facing for over 2 years.
