Rash....Hsv.....yeast????
So. I've had HSV-II ..since last March. So I'm somewhat familiar with the nature of the outbreaks. I've also been known to have some aggressively annoying yeast infections.
Few weeks ago, I had protected sex with my partner but he was sick and unfortunately I ended up with a sinus infection 😒 and was put on 10 day antibiotic by my general doctor.
After I finished my antibiotics I noticed my vagina was acting really weird idk something just seemed off. My period just started 2 days ago and it's feeling even more off.
Today I noticed extremely itchy rashes in the creases of my groin. It looks more rashy than blistery. It's also symmetric: the same rash is on both sides of my groin. It's almost as if my underwear and pad rubbed me raw or something. Or maybe all the moisture from my cycle caused an overgrowth of yeast??
I'm really confused. Idk if these rashes are from a hsv outbreak or an external yeast infection.
🤔 has anybody experienced this or anything similar??
