Hospital gown?

What do you wear while delivering and after baby is born? Do I bring something? Do I wear the gown the whole time?

You'll wear the fabulous hospital gown while delivering; however, afterwards you can wear your own clothing. I would make sure to bring comfy clothes pjs because they will check your bleeding and incision if you're having a cesarean section.

I wore the hospital gown the entire time with my first born. Of course you get it kind of gross during labor. But they bring you a new one when you take a shower. It was honestly way easier in my opinion than wearing something of mine. You don't have to wear a bra, if you want to breastfeed there's discreet little pocket things that allow you to do so without undoing anything, going to the bathroom is easier since it's like a dress. I'll be just using that again personally. I was also in a lot of pain after labor because I pulled a muscle.

Hospital gown or nothing while laboring/delivering. My clothes afterwards. And especially with this one because she'll be in the NICU so going between the two rooms I'll definitely want to be in my clothes and not a hospital gown.

I will not wear a hospital gown! Lol I can't stand the feeling. The hospital told me its ok and it might get ruined.

Keep in mind if you have an IV changing clothes will be difficult. I'm trying to figure out the best option myself :p

I HATE hospital gowns and when I'm overwhelmed (like I'm sure I will be) I get really anxious by the feel of certain fabrics and how my clothes feel. I won't be wearing the gown they provide. I'm getting one that looks more like a dress but has all the buttoned openings I need to not get in the way of doctors and nurses during labor. I made sure to check with my hospital first that this would be ok.

With my first i wore the hospital gown and my own loose fitting pj pants because i was always freezing so i will most likely be doing that again
