Old wives tale: Babies heart rate, was it accurate??

You know the old wives tale? Lower than 140 is supposedly a boy, any higher is a girl. How accurate is this?? Did it work for you, yes or no??❤❤❤❤😁

These are called old wives tales for a reason.

There is no correlation between heart rate and gender.

Nope. My daughter was always in the 130s and my son was around 170. It's silly.

The doctor told my parents I was going to be a boy because of my fast heart rate. Good thing they bought gender neutral clothes 😂

So there is a LITTLE science behind it, but it's more than just heart rate, its gestational age too. Look up babybpm  if you're curious. It's only been wrong once in my 8 uses.

My sons was on average 150-160 each time.

Technically, it was right for me...but, there are plenty of people it is wrong for. Just a coincidence, no science behind it. It's fun to play though!
