heart Doppler at 9 weeks

We think I'm about 9 weeks (don't have my first appt til next week) but I bought a home Doppler and found the heart rate and it was around 135-140....I've seen people have a lot higher heart rates at around week 9 so is mine normal? Or could it just be because I used a home Doppler?
