confused..positive HCG & negative digital.

Hi ladies ! Can someone give me a helpful hand?

I have received two very clear positives on first response. I took another this morning and it was a lot fainter. I waited until 11am, took another one and again fainter. Also took digital and got 'not pregnant'. Started panicking. Went to dr, he got a positive results and gave me a nice lecture on how 'a line is a line - you're pregnant'. And how a lot of things can change the darkness of lines. I will get blood results tomorrow. Are digitalis less sensitive? I do not want to convince myself I'm already having a chemical.
