My boyfriend went home for break after our first semester of college and realized that his family is emotionally abusive (with the exception of his mom) and it's lead him to question all of his relationships including ours. So now he's having a bit of an existential crisis where he isn't sure if he wants to be with me or if it's just easy, he thinks I'm too good for him.

Should we try a break of a few months? Give both of us space and time to think things through and then come back and talk about it? Maybe like 2 weeks or a month?
