1/30 had sex @7pm super energized after that ! Had light cramping starting about 9 totally irregular & not very painful. Until about 2/3 am I went to lay down because they were more frequent & painful so I timed them, was about every 5 mins 30sec long at least.

Such a hard time falling asleep through this, took my son to school about 830 still having regular contractions, came home and kept timing, took a slight nap, & told babe "I think u mighta did it this time" LOL but played the severity off because I didn't want to get our hopes up. I started last load of laundry, did my hair & makeup. Then got my son from school at 3pm. We went for lunch before getting checked out. The contractions started hurtin worse, sometimes closer together than 5mins.

Sure enough @L&D I was at a 4, but high & not effaced. I walked for an hour until I felt lighthead from the pain.. checked again barely made it to 5. At this point had my bloody show from being checked so much. Contractions weren't much closer but were sooo much stronger! I wanted to cry! Doc came & said they'll admit me, had an US & said baby was measuring about 10lbs!! @7pm I said omg, & saying if I wanted an elective csection they could do it now. What?! Babies huge now to my knowledge & I'll be out of pain ? Forget it , sign me up!! Lol

They came back & offered my epidural early if I wanted to try for VBAC now.. so I said okay I'll try , since the pain wouldn't be a factor now. So now I'm at a comfortable 6 ready to nap. :) story tbc

Update ! So progress slowed significantly at 7cm , was slowly effacing for hours stuck at 7 all night until about 730 am, started dilating more after they turned the Pitocin off, needed more epidural because once I got to 8.5 contractions were painfull About 830-930 !! so at like 10/1030 I was very very uncomfortable & felt like he was coming out w the strength of the contractions, sure enough I was ready to go ! Now numb again I just pushed w every pressure of a contraction I felt & was half sleep in between, less than an hour of pushing he was here !

9.2lbs 20.5ins ! Healthy boy! & I hardly tore at all! I feel soo accomplished & blessed 💚
