Drug-free labor for health reasons. Help!

Veronica
I'm looking at being induced in about a week. I can't and don't want to have an epidural because my body does not tolerate anesthesia or pain meds very well. I have a history of breathing complications due to general anesthesia and had to be intubated because I wasn't breathing. It was an awful, terrifying experience. I woke up choking and vomiting everywhere. Then with this pregnancy I got a spinal block before my cerclage and that was excruciatingly painful. They couldn't get the damn thing in and were about to put me under again. I had a panic attack and nearly fainted. When I sat up, the anesthesiologist realized I have a curve in my spine and was finally able to place it. But then it took almost 8 hours to wear off and I got sent home still feeling weak and a little numb. I didn't complain though because I just wanted to be out of there. I delivered my first without meds. I wanted them but was too far gone by the time they checked me. The incidents of anesthesia problems that I mentioned occurred after that delivery, so who knows what would've happened to me. I've also gotten sick from taking Norco/Vicodin and Tylenol with Codeine after my tonsillectomy last year.  I'm praying I can get through this. I'm scared shitless of having another bad reaction. I wasn't able to get into my birthing class because it got cancelled. Any suggestions, techniques or online videos that you recommend? I'm having a lot of anxiety thinking about this. Thanks.
