My boyfriend is 18 and im 16 we also have a kid together , can we get an apartment? If so , can my child and I live with him?

If your parents agree to immancipate you, or allow you to live with him while you're under their custody, sure.
If they're not on board then there's not much you can do.

Since you are under 18, he would have to get the apartment based only on his income and credit. Depending on where you live it also means he can't have a criminal background. So basically the apartment would be his. I'm sure there is some type of legal procedure your parents would have to go through to allow you to live there, but I'm not certain what it is.

You'll want to make sure you two discuss how bills are going to be paid. Moving out is expensive.  Every month you two will need to pay rent, utilities, cable, cell phone bills, health insurance, car insurance, groceries, childcare, any medical bills, gas for cars, and anything else that comes up.

I'd encourage you to also consider what this means for yourself and your child. If you and your boyfriend don't work out for whatever reason, he could kick you out or remove you from the home but not the child since legally the home will only be his. If there is ever a custody battle, the time you spend living in this apartment with him would be considered time hat he's providing housing for you and the child.

Basically just think this choice over really well. I know how tempting it is to move out of your parents house the first chance you get. Just make sure it's right for you at the moment.

You can move out at 16 BUT you need your parents consent and i think it's a legal process for it. Also, all the bills will be paid by him from his bank as you're not old enough to be able to pay bills from your bank account (if you have one). But you gotta also think, how're you gonna be able to contribute to bills when you have school to attend and a child to care for when you're not at school? How are you gonna afford childcare for when you're at school and he's at work? Have you really thought all of this through? Me and my boyfriend are planning on moving out(I'm 17 and he's 23) but we're waiting till I'm 18 to open a joint account so we can put our savings into it and till we have enough money for at least 3/4 months rent and enough for 3/4 months worth of bills so we have enough to get us started for a couple of months and while that money is going out, we'll be putting more in for the future months so we can always make sure we have enough. Even with him on £1500 a month and me on about £300/£400 a month, it's gonna take us about a year or so to save enough up. Wait till you have a job and your child is at school and you have enough saved up ready for when you move out! You won't regret it if you do. If you wanna move out so bad, why don't you just go on holiday somewhere with him for a week so you can get to learn his habits, get to learn everything about him like how he lives etc. Surprisingly, that can impact and affect your relationship and how you think of each other A LOT! Just think everything through before you make any decisions!
