when should I start nursery shopping?

At how many weeks I should start nursery shopping 😬?   I feel scared to start buying idk why almost 19weeks.  But I am also anxious 😩 I new BabyStuff.   I already know it's a boy 👶🏻💙.   Any suggestions?

I've picked my crib out and done my registry, but I haven't purchased a thing for the nursery, and I'm almost 20 weeks. I plan on starting in April/May...

We're not starting the nursery till after baby is here.

For at least the first 6 months, they'll be sleeping in our room, so we're only buying a cot, lazy boy chair (for feeding) and the bare minimum furniture we need. We'll spread the cost of the other items over the following 6 months. At least that way, we don't have to drop a huge wad of cash in one go 😳

I'm not buying anything until after my baby shower at 32 weeks. We did paint the walls and installed new hardwood in the nursery but that's just because the room was outdated.

I am 10 weeks and we ordered the crib! We plan on picking out new carpet and paint this weekend. Enjoy this time!!

I started when I found out a local baby store was going out of business...week 19. It doesn't hurt to start looking for good sales. I don't want to be overwhelmed when I am closer to my due date. There are so many things to think about!!

I probably won't until after the multiple baby showers we are going to have, I will just buy small things one I find out the gender and buy the practical things that nobody likes to buy as presents. If your not having a baby shower, go for it anytime.

I would start shopping around for the big furniture items E.g Crib, changing table, rocker, ext. then register for other item for your baby shower... the stuff you don't get you can grab before baby comes!

19 weeks and bought the crib and dresser, but takes a month to come in. We also painted the room, everything else will wait until after baby shower in May.

22 weeks and crib and dresser just came in this week. Target had a great baby sale last week so I didn't want to pass that up. I probably won't start setting up the room for another few weeks! But at least I got the stuff lol
