I always thought it would be really sweet one day if whoever I was dating at the time gave me chocolates, aspirin, and a teddy bear when I'm on my period.

My boyfriend is so far from romantic I hear something romantic once a month, usually on our anniversary. I've accepted this, he's always been like this.

However, I get no sympathy or love when I'm on my period. When we're watching TV we have to spoon because the TV is on my side of the bed, and he ALWAYS puts his arm around me and holds my hand or places his hand on my thigh. That's when I'm not on my period

When I'm on my period he doesn't even touch me. No spooning, no cuddles, no neck kisses, no hickeys on my boobs (which he always does), no sex.

I want to be like "I'm bleeding out of my vagina, not my boobs alright? On another note, you can still touch me, you won't get a period by touching me, it's not contagious"
