Anyone else try to imagine what their baby will look like?

This is my first baby so I have nothing to go off of! Lol. My husband and I both have the exact same color of eyes (teal/green) and our natural hair color is the exact same brown. So logically speaking I assume our baby will have those base features. But we also have redheads in our families and a few random blondes on my side. And I've always pictures my kids having light hair for some reason. I just can't wait to see the baby for the first time! Like will it look like me or my husband? I just can't wait. 😍

I teach 7th grade science and we are learning about heredity right now. My students have been doing Punnett squares for my baby ! Odds are medium brown hair and blue eyes, tall, pale, with no freckles :)

My husband and I have the same brown hair and green eyes and we have a red headed daughter with blue eyes. I thought the same thing as you but you truly never know! Both of our moms have blue eyes but we have no clue where the flaming red hair comes from but I love it! It is curly like ours though :)

There's loads of websites where you can upload a photo of you and your partner then it generates a baby photo of what he/she may look like at approx 6mnths/1year I I think. I've done that just out of fun. We get a very cute, adorable baby 😊

Omg I have been wondering this since I first found out I was pregnant!!!! Dad is a burly 6'3" with thick wavy dark brown hair and brownish/green eyes and so is most of his family. I'm 5'2" very blonde with bright blue eyes and so are all of my cousins and most of my family with a few brunettes thrown in. I can't wait to see how it all gets mixed up and what traits baby ends up with!

Oh man I have no idea what I'm in for! Out of four siblings on my husbands side, three have red hair. All different eye colors. I have brown eyes brown hair. My family mostly has red or blonde hair with blue or green eyes. I'm the weird one. So I could get some old generations worth of genes 😅 it really could go either way

Yes! I keep picturing a boy or girl to look like my husband! He has brown eyes and thick curly brown hair, I have blue eyes with light brown hair. I keep picturing a baby girl withbig brown   eyes and a baby boy that looked just like him as a baby.

I feel the same way!!! But my husband and I have completely different genes, I have dark hair and dark eyes, as a baby I had dark ringlet curls. My husband has light brown hair and hazel eyes, but has a baby though his kinder years he had white blond curly hair. Our skin tones are also very different. His family is full of blonds and mine brunettes. I look at our baby pictures and I can't imagine a baby with both our features!

My hubby has dark blonde hair/blue eyes. I have medium brown hair and brown/hazel eyes. So... it could pretty much go any way or be a combination of both.
 I always envisioned our little boy to be a blondie like my hubby was when he was little, but were having a girl so I sorta hope it's a brunette like me!
