Day care jobs or assistant teachers anyone works in or used to?

Question

I work in a day care but its not a fair job they just call me in when they feel like it and I don't even have a good hour shift. I'm in college major for teacher. I was wondering if any of you know any good day cares or any good jobs involved with children. I need a better job :( I was thinking of kindercare but heard is no good I don't know. I live in des plaines IL. 
I'm jus trying to improve.

I had similar problems so I started my own daycare but I know ur in school so nanny might be a better choice or try to find a small in home daycare that needs a staff

Sittercity.com or Care.com are great places to set up a profile. You can wait for people to find you, or search the people already looking for a Nanny or sitter. Nannies make great money with the right family.

I work with special needs kids for a school district. Good pay, great benefits and spring/summer/winter vacation. Plus when I have kids, I'll work the same hours they are in school ..

Stay away from KinderCare. I worked there, it's an awful company to work for. To be honest, I haven't found a really great company to work for..nature of the childcare industry I guess. I work for Bright Horizons now and it's not fantastic but it's better than most...you should look into it. :)
