As more people comment that they carry a gun, I'm sure there are going to be comments asking why we need to carry guns here in the US. The simplest reason is to make people feel safe, but I don't think that's the root to why we carry guns. This mindset has been engrained in the culture of our country since it's founding. Even for the British colonies, we were in a new land with unknown dangers. It only made sense for people to be armed. During the Revolutionary war, the local Militias were critical to our independance and their weapons were usually privately owned and not supplied by the government. Our founding fathers felt so strongly about this issue, they wrote an amendment into our constitution protecting our right to own and carry firearms. This idea of keeping these tools available to be ready for anything has been passed down through each generation in our country. While the vast majority of people who carry in the US never use their firearm to defend themselves or hurt people, they have the tool available if that time comes to defend their life, family, and country.

Hopefully this helps those not from the US understand why so many Americans own and carry guns.

it seems silly to openly admit how much i think about how i wish i had a tactical edc. i just hate carrying things on my person, but i want to feel ready, always. being prepared is worth the sacrifice; i just need determination. great carry, by the way.

Wallet, has literally everthing I need, a list of emergency contacts incase I lose my phone; lip gloss, pocket knife, mace, medications, sunglasses, driving glasses, a few pens, 2 protien bars, and an extra water bottle.

I carry a very small bag with my phone, money, bank card, drivers license, and car/house keys. That is literally it!!!
