What do I need for the hospital bag ??

I packed clothes for myself, slippers, onesies and sleep suits for baby, feminine wipes, pads, favorite book, small travel toiletries/hair ties etc, baby blanket, muslin cloths, snacks, and a robe. The only things I ended up using were the clothes I brought to go home in, baby's going home outfit, and the snacks. They provide so much that I just used their shampoo etc even though I had my own since I was a swollen hot mess and I ended up not caring how I looked. I had a c-section so your experience may be different. You may want some comforts from home, but at minimum don't forget comfy outfit for you and baby to go home in and a phone charger. I had a small duffel bag for my things and the diaper bag for baby. I saw some women checking in like they were going on safari for a year. If you are a minimalist, then you may not use half the things you bring. If you are not, then YouTube "What I packed in my hospital bag..." type videos. 👜
