My SOs mom lost a baby at 3 days old because she was born with a heart defect and she was missing a valve. This was wayyyyy long ago. They told her that she wouldn't live long and they took her home. His older brother went to go check on her and she wasn't breathing. Saddest thing ever. I'm wondering, could this be genetic and passed down to our children? I know it's a stupid question but I think about it a lot. Losing a baby like that would destroy me. I would never recover.
