Name for first born girl?

Question

Is anyone else struggling to figure out a name?! I thought it would be a fun part of pregnancy, but choosing it much harder than I expected! My husband is pretty agreeable about names, but nothing sticks out to us. We like ones that can have nicknames easily and aren't too popular. These are some we have jotted down but nothing stands out yet. What do you think?

I liked ruby until I mentioned it to my son (when he was 3) and he said "ruby boobie" he was just rhyming but being that was the first thing he rhymed it with it just made me think twice.

You'll know her name when you see her. I had narrowed my choices down to a few and the moment I saw her I knew her name. Have never regretted it and she definitely suits her name.

We are having Elsie if we have a girl. My so chose the name without knowing it was my great aunts name too ☺️

Luckily my husband and I didn't struggle for our first born girl names. Our daughter is lucky! But if she had been a boy, it would have been a different story. We could not decided on a boy name at all..

Ruby!  That was my choice if we were having a girl. There's a great bluegrass song called Ruby that I've loved for decades now.
