Is anyone else scared of giving birth?

My fiancé and I were watching Shameless and one of the characters gave birth and they showed the vagina as the baby comes out and it freaked me out. We want three kids but I'm fucking terrified.

Child birth in movies is pretty far from accurate. If your doctor thinks you will tear down there, they will do an episiotomy to keep that from happening. Things heal back up and you're good to go. Child birth does change your body but probably not in the ways you imagine. You will feel good down there again, I promise.

My boyfriend keeps pushing me to want kids in our future even though I don't totally want to which is fine. Except for the fact that he's an emt and says the he is dreading having to help a woman in labor bc it freaks him out. I yell at him every time hahha I'm like you want me and push me to go through that but it scares you?! Like yeah ok boo I'll go push a melon out of my vagina for a few hours but you know go in the other room bc you think it's gross 😑🙄

It is scary even if it is your second child or third or so on because you never know what's going to happen. It's always scary. But it is also one of the most amazing things ever to experience. It's the best feeling ever. Movies make it look worse or easier then it really is.

I'm extremely terrified to the point I've decided I don't want kids. For me, I can't even have sex because it hurts me too much to the point I'm crying and screaming for him to stop. Like a dick is too big.. so a baby ?? Hell nah, the pain would be terrible.

I'm only 16 and people tell you not to worry about it (esp. since I'm into the whole abstinence thing) but I literally cried when we learned about pregnancy and birth in school and my mom has had 5 kids but I'm not into it.

The only thing that worries me is the pain. I want to have a natural birth and im worried that the pain will be too much for me. Ive wanted to have a baby since i was 16, and not just for the cuteness. I want to experience all of the ups and downs of motherhood and to see my child grow and change every day. I have a huge maternal instinct thanks to my mom and being raised in a daycare for 16 years.

Haha I was terrified too lol but I have 2 kids god makes women's body's forget the pain of birth pretty much right away if not no one would have another baby lol and it streaches out to fit the baby out but then it shrinks back really quickly as long as you do keegles it will be back to normal in a couple months I was afraid of my husband being grossed out by watching a baby come out of me but he wasn't at all he thought it was amazing and beautiful they have a much different reaction when it's the woman they love having their baby instead of watching a random woman on TV pop out a kid he was very grossed out by the movie lol
