Teething time?

My daughter started at 2 months. She cut her first two teeth at 3 months. She has 7 teeth and just turned 9 months. She has been wearing an amber teething necklace. Otherwise she has a few teething toys she likes and every once in a while I give her a frozen washcloth to chew on. She hasn't really needed any medicine till now.

Mine started at 3 months. (A lot of the moms in my mommy group had similar start times as well.. 3 months) She just turned 6 months today and this week she popped her first tooth! Basically when it's really really bad only Tylenol seems to help. Although a great item is those teething mesh bag pop things. You can put frozen breast milk or formula cubes in there and my daughter LOVES it. When they can have solids you can stick frozen banana cubes, applesauce etc in there ... it's been a lifesaver! The frozen washcloth trick did nothing for my baby but I know it works wonders for others!

My son started teething around 3 months. He had 2 teeth by the time he was 4 months and 12 before he was a year old. His 13th,14th and 15th teeth have broken through and his 16 is almost, he's 14 months old.

My son has been drooling bad since about 3 months but didn't cut his first tooth til 7 months.. that's when the fussing began too 😔 he's now 9 months and cutting his 6th tooth. So  it's all gonna vary from each child. If he's really fussy I give him Tylenol. The rest of the time he's chewing on whatever he can. So we make sure he's always got something to hold and chew.
