9 days ago she got a very very faint pregnancy test. The next day it was darker, but still very light. She took two tests that came back negative after that. Super confused, she continued testing. Every test since then came back positive. In total she's taken about 30 tests of different brands. 28 of them came back positive. 3 days ago, she filled up half a pad of brown blood, and the day after the blood became bright red and would fill up a pad every 45 minutes. She claims to have passed about 10 clots varying from a size of a pea up to the size of a loonie. She went to the ER and they did two urine tests, both of them came back negative. However, a blood test came back positive. They didn't tell her the numbers. Today her bleeding slowed down, but is still continuing red.  She's now 5 weeks 1 day pregnant. I feel horrible saying this, but her friends keep giving her false hope. She tried getting pregnant for almost 2 years and now she has this baby. Everyone is telling her that she was probably carrying twins, and lost one of the babies and that's why her bleeding stopped (is because she still has another baby in her stomach). She never got an ultrasound, and twins don't run in our family or her hubby's side. Others are also saying it's totally normal to be bleeding this much and that she could be having a period while pregnant. She has an appointment on Thursday (feb 9th) and is panicking and stressed (I don't blame her). Deep down in my heart, I feel like she had a MC. I have never experienced an MC myself however... 

all this being said, what do you ladies think? To me it doesn't sound/look normal. Could she still be pregnant? Or does everything sound like a MC?
