teen boys?

So I have a crush on a guy (or i did at least). We messaged a bit before and he was trying to sext and I didn't catch his drift so he unfriended me on snap and a few weeks later he finally started messaging me back and he was just avoiding conversation. Long story short this led to sexting. I had never done it before and I had told him I was very attracted to him but he didn't really respond the same way and he sent me viddos of him touching himself (I didn't send anything because i am not naive and also he didn't ask). Now he won't talk to me again. I think he is just embarrassed because we haven't talked at school much before but I even gave him s note saying that I didn't want to talk to him if he wouldn't respect me enough to talk to me. I really like him but i am not sure about how to approach him about the subject without making him totally shit down. This is a mess.
