Nasal congestión during pregnancy?

What is safe to take?

I have such bad shortness of breath :(

Saline nasal spray! It comes in a yellow/green can at the drug store and helps so much with sinus gunk.

My dr told me pseudoephedrine was safe after the first trimester (has to be the stuff from behind the counter) but call your dr to make sure!!

I have been sick for weeks too ..sore throat bad congestion Dr said not much I can do besides Vicks 🙁

I've been using a bit of Vicks under my nose, which is apparently ok.

I also had a shot of Turmeric milk with honey the other day when my sinuses were blocked from a nasty cold; but you shouldn't take it regularly while pregnant. Did the trick though; I went from having a painful, blocked up face, to having a lot of relief within minutes!

(Look for Indian 'Haldi Ka Doodh' recipes; works wonders! But maybe not the best when you're pregnant, as turmeric is not good in high doses. Kids, adults and dogs can take it for colds)

Just had an awful cold. Coughing, nasal/chest congestion, and headache. My midwife said Robitussin DM, Sudafed  (the plain kind with pseudoephedrine, behind the counter), and Tylenol were all ok to take. The Sudafed helped so much!!!
