why tweaking?

Can someone please explain to me why they call it Tweaking a pregnancy test. I thought tweaking was something that happens to you when you are on meth or other amphetamines.

Tweaking means you invert the photo to see if there's a line you can't see in the original

I think it's cause the phrase when you adjust something slightly, some people say they will "tweak" it. It's just another word for adjusting. So when people adjust a pic of test, mess with the colors or put it in negative to see better, it's called tweaking. :)
