This is a few week old piercing. What could that redness indicate?

Not to scare you, but that's what mine looked like before it got infected and rejected. I now have a huge scar. I'd get it seen asap.

Are you cleaning it enough with sea salt?

The belly ring is not agreeing with your skin plus trying to heal at the same time is too much for sensitive skin like yours

Mine did the same thing and left an awful scar. My skin was too sensitive for the piercing.

It doesn't look infected, per se, but it does look irritated. Do you know if you're allergic to faux gold or silver?

They might not have pierced it deep enough. This is what mine looked like. The piercer didn't pierce it deep enough and eventually my body rejected the piercing. Pushed it right out.

It looks right for jut being a few weeks old. Mine took a couple of months to stop being red and sore. Belly button piercings take up to a year to fully heal. A lot of people are saying use salt water, my piercer says that's out dated. He said there's no proof that it keeps the piercing cleaner and can dry it out too much. I was told to use saline spray which you can get at the grocery store of pharmacy.

Clean with sea salt and warm water , I used a shot glass and put it over my piercing and used and cotton swab to clean any yucky ness & make sure you use dial or any soap like that in the shower, my was like that a first , but it started to get better once I cleaned everyday 😌 I hope yours gets better soon 😁

doesn't look infected or anything just looks irritated from something. could be the jewelry or it could be pants/jeans especially high waisted. mine gets like that when i wear high waisted jeans and it tugs on it for a few hours.
