My husband is a horrible spender, he usually takes whatever he needs for the week (lunch, gas, etc), and gives me the rest for bills/savings. It was his decision to do that, and I did not force him whatsoever. If he needs to buy something big, he usually will talk it over with me. He used to be the type to spend his entire paycheck within a couple days..

My fiance and I have joint bank accounts and joint savings accounts for years.  Never had an issue.

When we were dating and engaged my now husband would transfer me money to pay bills with. Once we got married we opened joint accounts. The only account he doesn't have access to is our savings because he has a bad habit of spending money lol

My husband and I have joint accounts. He makes more money than me so my paychecks go into our savings while his go into our checking. We check with each other before most purchases, except the obvious ones like food/gas/bills/etc.

Yep. We share 100%. Never been an issue. We've even paid off each other's credit cards at various times, we just make sure that we are always doing the most sensible thing with the money we have.

We have our own accounts but access to eachothers. He gives me some cash towards the bills and I pay for most of them out of my account. Hes not working right now which is why. When he is, i pay mortgage and then use his card for other bills
