Well... My water broke 😓 UPDATE #3 [Picture Update]
I have been on hospital bed rest due to a short cervix since January 12th. It hasn't been easy but I had been strong because on Thursday I was 4 days shy of my cervical check and if everything looked great I was going to be able to go home! Or so I thought... Thursday was a good day I felt fine had friends and family visit me early in the day and around 5PM I got up to use the bathroom and I had laid back on the bed on my side and I was uncomfortable so I laid on my back and as soon as I did that my water broke 😣. I called my nurse and everybody on the high risk floor came running into my room. Within an hour I was sent down to L&D where they started IV fluids and Magneisum. It's now been three days I am back in my original room tomorrow I'll officially be 24 weeks all I want is my baby girl to be okay 😫 This pregnancy has been rough from the start and it seems like everything that could happen has already happened besides her being born early. I'm hoping for a few more weeks but only time will tell. I'm being checked every four hours for and so is my baby girl and so far so good her heart rate is always in the 150s. I'm trying to be as positive as possible but sometimes it just seems so hard 😓
UPDATE: my little Juliana was born via emergency csection February 6th at 3:36 AM. she is in stable condition in the NICU. please pray for my little girl. I know she's a fighter and all 1 pound 3 oz of her will make it through this.
Update #2: Baby girl is two days old as of 3:36 this morning and the nurses and doctors are amazed at how great she's doing! She apparently has a lot of spunk and attitude lol (just likes her mama) Every time mommy and daddy walk into the room she lifts her little foot up on top of the little frame around her and starts flexing her little toes up and down as if she's says okay guys i'm here 😊 I never knew i could be so in love with such a tiny beautiful human ❤
Update #3: Baby girl is doing absolutely amazing! Doctors are so impressed with her progress despite being so tiny. As of last night she's on the lowest setting possible of the ventilator. All her levels are great and she's officially being fed very few drops of breast milk hourly so soon enough she's going to start plumping up like a little turkey. Thank you so much to everybody who has been keeping us in their thoughts and prayers. It means SO much to me and my family. This app has made a huge difference in my life during this pregnancy and I can't say thank you enough ❤
