Is this my mucus plug??? Tmi

I am 26 weeks and 1 day and I just wiped this out. I'm 18 and this is my first child so i dont know what I'm suposed to be looking for. I wiped one time before this but didnt look. Ive been having back pain and cramps all day. Should i go get this check out or is it normal?

Mucous plug is gross, gooey, bloody, and lots of it. You can't mistake it. This looks normal. Especially if you've had sex recently

That's discharge. Your plug is rubbery, snotty looking. Mine also had blood in it. But it's like a dark green and feels rubbery like tough.

Doesnt look like it to me but if you have been crampy and back pain i would call doc to ask what they think

I went in around the same time-- maybe 25 weeks-- because of the same thing. I hadn't had any discharge like it my whole pregnancy and have had two preterm babies, so I'm a little extra paranoid. The docs checked for any infection of any kind, and it all came back negative and the consensus ended up being that it's normal, especially if you've had intercourse recently. For me, it was a day and a half after intercourse.

Looks normal to me. That's just standard pregnancy discharge. Your mucus plug will have some blood in it normally. Also called a "bloody show".

& to add on, if it is your mucus plug it's not too big of an issue. You can lose it at any stage of pregnancy, it regenerates itself :)

This is what my mucus plug looked like!!! 
And it got more and more greenish looking the more contractions I had. It wasn't ever bloody for me! A lot of women's plugs don't have any blood.
