When should I make my first doctors appointment?

Just got a BFP this morning! Yay!!! Anyway what I wanted to ask is- when should I call my doctor about my positive pregnancy test? I'll be 4 week pregnant tomorrow and I'm unsure if I should wait a few weeks or not. This is my second pregnancy but with my first I was much later into the pregnancy before finding out. Any advice would be great!

I called my doctor at 4 weeks and they scheduled me for my first appointment at 6 weeks and 3 days. They will let you know when you should come in :)

I have my first appointment at 8 weeks exactly. But that appointment is just a 1 hour consult with the pregnancy educator about what to expect etc. then at that appointment they schedule my first ultrasound..not sure when that would be !!

I made mine the other week and will be seen 03/07. I'll be a little over 8 weeks. Some will see you as early as 6 weeks. Call and ask your OB/midwife.

I called my doctor right after I found out. I was 3 weeks 2 days when I called. And my appt is set for when I am 8 weeks 1 day. They don't do earlier appts unless we are high risk or have had history of miscarriages. I'm so anxious!!

I have my first apt Wednesday at 5w2d but I have history of early MC.

I would call right away, as their schedules fill up quickly. My office will see you for the first appointment at 8-10 weeks.
