cysts in breasts
I have a question. In the last year and a half I have developed cysts on my breasts. I am 30, and I actually happened to started to develop them like a few months after first starting BC. Before that I was not using the pill or any other type of birth control. Anyway, the first one really freaked me out (obviously) because I didn't even realize I had it until my husband felt it. I have since had that one drained but at the time I was told I had several small cysts on both breasts but after the fluid came back fine from the aspirated one, they told me not worry that and to come back in six months. I did and all they found were a few small ones again. Now it's almost a year since they first started and I have a Huge one on my left breast. Thing is, this time this one was hurting ALOT (they never hurt before) and it only stopped because it moved from right behind the nipple. The ultrasound tech said it was a cyst that looked exactly like the one last year (almost 2 and a half cm wide) but I feel concerned. First the pain (although usually cancer tumors don't usually hurt according to my research) and then I feel like my nipple looks different. That nipple always had a weird-ish shape but now it feels like it looks more indented and when I asked my husband of it looks different he said yes, it looks more lumpy 😔 Like I said, the cyst developed right behind the nipple and although it has moved from the position it was when I discovered it, I wonder if it's not affecting my nipple because of where it is. Anyone have any similar experiences? Mostly looking for reassurance lol. I have an appointment to go see the doctor this week. I wanted to post a picture but how do I post a tmi one?
