how soon after meeting your husband/fiancé did you know they were the one?

I recently met a guy and our first official date was Saturday and he completely blew me away from the moment we met. I honestly have never felt this way about anyone this soon or the way I am feeling towards him. I can be completely myself around him, normally I'm the super shy type and it's hard for me to be myself around people I'm just meeting but with him it's like I've known him my whole life. Did y'all feel the same way about your S/O? When did you know they were the one?

Honestly I had dated alot of men after my divorce and I knew they weren't the one. Ididn't what to commit at all after being in a bad marriage. A few years past. So many men swearing God made them for me blah blah blah, they'd say anything and everything. Still I didn't feel right about any of them. Then I met my SO accidently through my cousin kind of. Her friend was a drummer in my SO'S s Bffs band, his BFF is a audio engineer and some how I ended up meeting him.  I knew the first time I saw his smile when he looked at me that he loved me and it was genuine. I had never felt a more genuine feeling in a look.  Literally love at 1st smile. I didn't even know it was possible. I didn't even know yiu could know by a look! I was a grown ass woman who didn't even beleive in love like that. I wasn't a romanticist. I was too logical, needless to say been 6 years :) and I still remember how much love was in that one look and it ms just been growing since.

My husband and I have a weird story. I met him through my ex and the first day meeting him I was instantly attracted to him. Well we ended up being roommates and he started to by my friend. He was there for me to vent to since my ex and I had a horrible relationship. Anyways when my ex and I did finally break up him and I started talking more and more and I started liking him then. And then I sort of got back together with my ex and quit talking to my husband. Well then once my ex and finally broke up for good I found out my husband had enlisted so I messaged him and since that day we talked everyday that we could. While he was in basic he ended up sneaking his phone past the drill sergeants after family day so we were able to text and we grew closer closer. Well anyways when he came home his sister had a party for him So of course he invited me and I showed up early before everyone else came and we finally had alone time and he grabbed me and kissed me and I just knew then. That whole week we spent everyday together and ended up getting married 2 days before he left for his duty station. I honestly think you know you found the right person because they will truly make you feel different. With my husband i was genuinely happy, I was confident right from the start, and I was just myself for once. Plus he just gave me that feeling i couldn't explain and still cant explain today.

After about a year of being together (which would be when we were 15), I started seriously thinking he was. It wasn't until we moved in together (almost 6 years into the relationship and us almost 20) that I really knew. He makes everything so much better. I sleep better, I feel better, we both communicate and bond better. I feel safer and more secure, and generally less anxious. The moment I realized is when I was explaining to him something small about myself, and he cut me off and finished everything I was trying to say. It wasn't even anything important, but he remembered every detail. No one else has ever been like that with me. And I know that probably sounds dumb, but that was pretty much the cherry on top for me.

After two weeks of straight texting all day and all night. The things we would talk about. We met up and stayed up all night talking. From that day I knew that he was it for me. I knew that I was going to fall completely in love with this man. 2 months now and our relationship continues to grow everyday

I had that feeling again (similar scale/ intensity/ familiarity) at 34, nearly 35. We are now engaged & parents of a darling baby boy, very much planned 👶🏼 We're over the moon with him! 🌙 ❤😁😁

I knew the same day we met that I wanted in my life permanently in some fashion. Didn't take long after that for us to fall hopelessly in love with each other.
