We all have to do what's best for our families but I'm primarily a stay at home mom so I can be hands on with our kids. I work two days a week so I can get a little me time and help pay for some extras and my husband and mom watch our son so we don't have to put him in daycare. It works great for us as our son gets one on one time with mom, dad, and grandma every week. Being a SAHM is challenging as I am such a social person and can be tough on the budget but for us it's worth it.

My husband and I plan to do a little of both. I plan to work part time (about 3 days a week) so that I can still bring in a little extra money and stay sane... but still be home the majority of the time to raise our kids.

Right now I work full time from home and he is in between jobs so he's technically a SAHD but after we have this baby our company will be up and running again so he will be running that and I'm thinking of quitting my job to have more time with my children

We both have to work full time but when that time comes I wish I could stay home.

That's tough. I'd rather stay home for the first few years, but then I'd like to go back to work.  This isn't in the cards for us though, I will be returning after a year of mat leave.

id love to stay at home like my mom did. but she also worked from home.

Some days I want to be a SAHM. Other days I want to work. If I could get by on doing like part time and have a set schedule, I would probably do that, but it's not feasible for us.
