Anybody else have to bring their baby to post natal checkup?

I can't get a sitter and don't want to miss it, but wasn't sure how it would go

My doctor told me I better bring the baby to my checkup!! They all wanted to see her!! 😂

Well yeah it's normal. Let her chill in her car seat or you can hold her while your doctor checks down there.

Yep, I brought him and all the staff (Ob included) were so excited to see him. They said it's one of their favorite parts of the ob process ❤

Yup, she stayed in the car seat on the floor of the room, no biggie the doc offices should be used to it.

My son has come with me to all of my appointments. At my 6 weeks pp appointment he was really hungry and crying. My doctor held him while he talked to me and a nurse asked if she could hold him while he did his check up. They were so great about it. All the other nurses came to see him and were absolutely amazing. At my last birth control appointment (to see how it was going and get more), my doctor had him on his knee the whole time. These doctors and nurses went into the business with the excitement of bringing new life into the world (amongst other normal health things lol) and most love to see the babies they've been seeing on the screens for so long!

Yup - baby has come with to all my doctor's appointments 6 months and counting

My husband and daughter both came along. They're used to it. They even asked me multiple times if I want to nurse my daughter.

My husband works an odd shift, so yes, baby is coming with me next week.  My oldest has been to damn near all my appointments for the first 5 years of her life (before kindergarten). She's been at my head during paps and on my lap during dental visits, etc.

Yes. I can't drive yet so my hubby is taking me to my appt this week. We are bringing baby and the receptionist told me to bring her. I see other moms with their babies at my doctor's office all the time.
