car seat placement?

Where is your car seat set up? Middle or behind passenger? Are you using latch system or seat belt? Why did you choose that placement? We are struggling with where our car seat is at the moment and want to hear others thoughts.

Our baby is behind the passenger seat. We chose that because we have captains seats in the middle row so there was no middle seat and I can see her easily. I use both the latch and the seat belt. I figured it couldn't hurt to use both.

They recommend in the middle if you can. She's in the middle of my car but passenger side of my husbands. He has a split bench seat so she's on the little side so we can put the other side down to transport things when needed. We just did the seat belt attachment because that's what I knew on installing it properly.

Middle with a latch in my car and behind the driver in my moms van. Just because it's faster for in and out behind the driver seat.

Middle seat for me! And I have a seatbelt that goes through the base, and the latch system...honestly, I just looked up the suggested setup from the car seat company and went with that...
