when should you test negative after miscarriage

So my DR told me to test for HCG a week after my miscarriage on the 26th and it should be negative so I test again today as I wanna TTC again asap and this is what I get why is it still positive shouldn't it be out of my system by now? It's faint so I guess the level is going down but it's been 11 days it should be gone they didn't see anything on the 26th and said I had passed everything they wanted me to test and in a week just to make sure I wasn't so early that couldn't see anything but my test should be getting darker if I hadn't miscarried right so seeing this positive just sorta hurts 😞

Mine took 2-3 weeks after everything passed. Took three months after my miscarriage for a period to come back and now I'm currently 24 weeks pregnant. Give yourself time to heal though because a miscarriage is a hard thing to go through. If you're ready to try again I wish you the best!!

Mine took about 4-5 weeks to go back to normal. I'm sorry your going through this. Sticky baby dust for next time

My last miscarriage took 12 weeks. I was bleeding the entire 12 weeks tho. They let me go to long in my opinion. But I would ask your doctor

With my first MC I had a D&C and had my period 4 wks later. It took two months to get pregnant again.

My second MC I did at home and tested for two weeks until my levels were back to 0. I had my period 4 wks after I lost it and got pregnant again the next month.

Just make sure you continue to drink your fluids and take your prenatals. You will be fine. Good luck!
