Help, TTC burned out!
So, long story short...my DH and I have been TTC for 7 months now and I think he is burnt out. We enjoy having sex when we are not TTC but when it's time, it's time, ya know! The problem is, he doesn't want to have sex when we HAVE to have sex bc of ovulation. He says he's like a kid who doesn't want to play with a toy when it's available to play with. I told him it's out of my control, I can't tell my body when to ovulate!
Anyways, I'm posting now bc he just came in from work and after talking a bit, I asked him when he wanted to do the deed and he seriously asked me if he could just do the deed into a cup so I could just use a turkey baster to get the job done.
Y'all I'm at my wits end. I don't know where to turn for advice. I literally just told him that I'll never ask for sex again and I very much mean it. Even if that means I'll never be a mother. I am just at a point where I want to give up.
How would you move forward in this situation?
Have you or a partner experienced burn out while TTC? How did you overcome it?
