I'm getting on birth control will the doctor tell my parents I had sex?

I'm going to the doctor on Thursday to be put on birth control and I know that the doctor is gonna look down there but I don't want her to tell my mom that I'm sexually active im 16 btw. Can the doctor tell her? Oh and what birth control helps lose weight but will still let me have regular periods?

According to privacy laws the doctor cannot tell your parents (or anyone unrelated to your immediate care at the health facility) that you are seeking birth control.

Umm no. Usually if you don't want your mom to know or whoever.. It stays bewteen you & the doctor. Unless it's something really important but other than that no he won't tell. That's what happened to me 2 weeks ago. I went to the doctor & they asked me questions but made sure my momma stepped out. Asked if I was sexually & what not. I'm 17. The doctor didn't tell my mom. Buuuut.. I did have to give a urine sample & the birth control is gonna wait. I get my results Thursday cuz that's my next appointment :)
