I was surprised with a pregnancy after being "done" having babies. I have a two girls, 9 & 6 with my ex. My husband and I would've had our first. (And this baby would've been due between my girls' birthdays -they are 5 days apart!) I was scared to do it all again, but got into baby brain and was excited, until..... My 8 week ultrasound when they said they couldn't find a heartbeat.

I'm so heartbroken over the loss of a baby I didn't even know that I wanted!! Now that I'm 'old' I'm terrified that it will result in just more miscarriages. We have plans to try again, but how do you guard your heart from something that, quite possibly, could happen again? And can I manage to get pregnant and NOT be completely negative about it potentially working out???

Is there anyone out there with some advice?
