So today I went for my 6 week postpartum check up and things didn't go as I planned. I had tore at the perineal and had stitches inside and out 😳 my doctor said I'm perfect inside but outside not so good and she's glad I haven't had sex yet. Turns out the skin didn't heal right and I had a flap of skin and basically open flesh (sorry tmi) she had to take the skin flap off then burn the area so it heals and isn't like an open wound... literally the worst pain ever and felt like I was giving birth again. Now I have to wait another 2 weeks to have sex 😩 my SO is so disappointed lol has anyone had this happen to them?
