A chemical pregnancy basically means that you have tested before your period was due, the fertilization/implantation had occurred, but your body rejected it for scientific reasons. There are many reasons for a chemical, but usually it is a mutation or faulted egg that is the culprit. Mother Nature's Way of making sure she does her best to give us a healthy pregnancy. It typically doesn't change the normal cycle, which is why women who don't test before AF usually don't even know. I believe they use the term chemical because it is only known as a pregnancy because of the testing we have done. I just had one last month, and only tested early because of my strong symptoms. Going forward, I am no longer doing early testing. Currently, I am 4 days late, and still negative results. So frustrating! Baby dust to you, and if you had a chemical, I'm sorry for your loss. Regardless of how early it happens, us women still feel the pain of it.
