boys with trust issues

the boy I'm "talking" to has REALLY bad trust issues. like apparently some girl messed him up pretty bad and now he can't trust anybody. he won't even let me tell anyone that we're talking because he doesn't trust anyone with his business. he gets so paranoid that he accuses me of doing things that I literally can't even do. like his phone was acting up and he accused me of being the reason why, like I magically bugged it or something. then today he flat out said "I don't trust you" which I already knew, but then he goes back to acting like he never even said it. I really like him even though he swears he can never love anyone again. like he even hates telling his mom he loves her?? please help bc I don't wanna just do the easy thing & give up on him
